Amanda Ravetz

Michael Pinchbeck interviews Professor Amanda Ravetz. Amanda trained as a visual anthropologist and works across the fields of anthropology and art. She has written about observational cinema, artists' development, social art practice, arts and health, art and anthropology, and has made documentary films exploring sensory knowledge in different settings - with hill farmers, neighbours in Dhal ni Pol in Ahmedabad, people in recovery from addiction, artists with a learning disability and children in an early years school setting. She is Professorial Research Lead for the Department of Art and Performance.
