My MA Thesis has been interesting while researching and exploring Architecture andcolour, I have been researching the uniqueness of colour in Architecture and Urbanism toexplore how colour, does, could will and may effect Urban Spaces. The concept starts as colour created curiosity in me towards places and spaces. Architectsdesign with reference to the site location, surroundings and always consider the history ofthe site while exploring the location. In this instance I would like my design proposal tore.ect the history of the site; i.e what once existed on the speci.c site/sites. (ParsonageGardens is the location I have applied all my experiments on making it the typology I willbe relying on.

The proposal starts with a canopy, due to the Mancunian weather. Encouraging the public to use the spaces during rainy days as well, which is what Manchester lacks. The canopy is to mould the church that once existed on each site creating a bespoke form, made of a unique abstract mosaic pattern using a transparent polycarbonate materialusing different colours, through the Mancunian Colour Palette, for the choice andarrangement of colours. The colours do not act in a peculiar relation to one another, butwithin the proposed design, each according to its own characteristics.

This piece of work aims to attract attention, for locals and new comers, creating a uniquedistinctive mancunian colour palette design that is completely involved with its surroundings and creates a virtual image and sense of the history of the site, through there.ected bespoke colours and patterns.
