There is something universal and enduring about putting a seed in the earth, living with it; tending it and watching it grow. A prevailing idea is the transformation of something that is moving through space over time. The drawings encapsulate the beginning and the end of things, their visceral life and death. The body of work is the result of a slow unfolding journey based on closeness of proximity. It is about 'Being' in the present with the 'thing' and the conversations that occur between the observed the observer and the artwork.
