An exhibition of work
by art, design, media and
landscape architecture
postgraduate
students

The School of Art was originally founded to provide creative training and vision to Manchester's world-renowned manufacturing industries in the early part of the 19th Century. 176 years later, the nature of the creative industries in the city is quite different, but Manchester still has an international reach and we remain committed to helping our students become internationally competitive.

Postgraduate study is an important part of this objective, as it provides a direct interface between the professional world and the high quality practice and high quality research of our staff team. Our new building demonstrates that the University and the School are committed to continuing this legacy.

We are proud to present this year's postgraduate students as they become the most recent contribution to the creative and cultural activities that are an asset to the city, the UK and internationally.
