Bruce's MA research has investigated the creation of 3D volume through the folding, twisting and joining of 2D geometric forms, creating complex 'd-forms' and 'pita forms'. The morphogenesis of these shapes has been used to suggest alternative pattern cutting methods and to inform garment design questioning volume, proportion and silhouette.
