MA Fashion: Womenswear

/curate/

curated assemblages; an expression of who I am, want to be and fear I am. A visual expression of the value imbued in kept clothing. Creating from garments the wearer no longer feels have relevance to be worn. Kept garments are symbols of parts of my identity. Scale, colour and detailing speaking the inner speech of the garments.

A personal response to the design development process curate. Curating from made garments into new objects. A design development process sprung from my concerns regarding mass consumptions negative effect on the environment and inspired by my desire to open the fashion system to the public.
