The aspiration is to develop a global movement, for TimeTourists to share the past, their histories of the world, where it happened.

TimeTourist ® is an app which uses augmented reality to help you see the past by overlaying artefacts such as old photographs to the live view you see through your mobile device’s camera.

TimeTourist ® guides you to these to discover detailed information, build your collection and send ‘postcards from the past’ across social media, SMS and email.

Schools will also participate in a learning programme developed collaboratively for the National Curriculum, using TimeTourist ® as a tool for discovery.

Funding has been won to build a prototype. 

TimeTourist ® will continue to evolve as a self-propagating platform, for the benefit of all our futures.

My practice revolves around human-centred design, encompassing multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary practice.   I adopt the Double Diamond methodology, with stakeholders and collaborators informing the iterative design process.  These include; the community, historians, archivists, photographers, academics, researchers, teachers, pupils, authors, journalists, councillors, app developers, UX/UI/augmented reality specialists.
