Five nominations for Roses Awards
Top designers and architects
FIVE MMU designers are among the cream of the North West having picked up nominations for the 2007 Roses Design Awards.
Staff and students dominate the Product Design category in the North West's leading design and architecture competition.
Senior lecturer Helen Felcey and designer-in-residence Peter Masters are nominated for their ceramics and furniture respectively.
Ian McIntyre, who graduated this year from the Batchelor of Design course and Claire Brooker, from this year's Graduate Diploma course are also nominated.
Claire, a print and pattern designer, is up for the Emerging Designer of the Year category.
The Roses Awards will be handed out at a ceremony at the Hilton Hotel on October 18.
