Liam is Fashion King
Graduate named North West Designer of Year
FASHION starlet Liam Evans has been named North West Young Designer of the Year.
The 22-year-old scooped his latest accolade at The Triangle Shopping Centre show last night, which featured catwalk star Rebecca white.
Liam's designs were described by a panel of industry judges as 'beautiful, feminine and utterly wearable'.
The competition was open to designers from all the North West fashion schools.
Liam, a summer graduate from the BA Fashion course was joined in the 10-strong final by four other MMU-trained designers: Hasan Hejazi, Matthew Miller, Michael Nurse and Sarah Whitwell.
Liam, from Shropshire, won the trophy and will see his collection go on sale at the unique boutique in Manchester for three months.
