Peter Benson Reading at MMU (rescheduled to 29/11/07)

Award-winning author Peter Benson will be appearing at MMU on Thursday 29th November 2007. ***Please note that this event has been rescheduled from 8th November. ***

Peter Benson is the award winning author of seven novels including The Levels (winner of the Guardian Fiction Prize, The Authors’ Club First Novel Award and the Betty Trask Prize), A Lesser Dependency (The Encore Award), and The Other Occupant (The Somerset Maugham Award).

He has contributed to short story anthologies and has written plays for screen and radio, including adaptations of his award winning books. He has taught at the Wake Forest University, North Carolina, the University of Plymouth, East Devon College, Ty Newydd and the Arvon Foundation and has also worked as a copy-writer.

Peter will be reading from and talking about his work, and answering questions from the audience.
