Dr David Penny

David Penny is a photographic artist living and working in Manchester. He has completed a practice-based PhD at Manchester School of Art and has a Masters degree from the University of Westminster. Davidís work has been exhibited and published internationally at Open Eye Gallery in the UK and ShanghART gallery in Shanghai. His work has been published in SOURCE: the photographic review, PIPELINE: Hong Kong, and through Museums ETC.


Pictures of Things and Things that are Pictures

Work on the Line

I am currently working on a curatorial project investigating the railway station as a site for the presentation of artworks. The project has developed from an artist residency with the organisation Metal at Edge Hill Station and has been funded by Arts Council England. Details…
