Monograph on feminist philosophy as practiced in digital forms of cinema, television, media forms, and feminist film theory and philosophy. Feminicity marks out the activities of visual practices where difference is visualised and imagined, through active -points. The aim of the research is to deterritorialize the body of feminist film theory that is able to identify the image as gendered but in its use of a gendered dialectic, a negative image of 'woman' is recorded. I look to examples in practice and in theory where a materialist feminism is posited; where feminist manifesto forms and feminist semiotic praxes enable affective measurements of modes of historical time and offer new possibilities for imagining difference.
