Loran Dunn

Loran is a 2017 Screen Daily Star of Tomorrow, BFI Vision Award winning and BIFA Longlisted Breakthrough Producer with a background in production on BBC Dramas, independent features and major music promos.

With track record of short film screenings and awards at Festivals including Sundance, Palm Springs Film Festival and the Best Producer Award at BAFTA accredited Underwire Film Festival.

Loran's First Feature A Deal With The Universe was the Centrepiece Gala at BFI Flare London LGBTQ+ film festival in March 2018, and was released in cinemas April 2019.

Loran has also been a Development Mentor at Channel 4’s Random Acts North, Producer for Shortflix – Sky Arts, National Youth Theatre and Creative England’s new talent scheme. She is currently a Mentor for BBC New Creatives, and Executive Producer on British Council and BFI's global project More Films for Freedom.

Research

Loran Dunn is a member of the School of Digital Arts Research Hub.
