Four 3m x 2.5m printed hangings, compositionally based upon Antonello da Messina's 'St. Jerome in his Study', the prints show a slightly timeshifted set of scenes of Hyatt in his studio. Printed onto voile, they are transparent and were hung so that each could be seen through the other. The time differences are displayed on a depicted computer screen in the images. The fragility of the form, diaphanous and wafting - near invisible - supports the transience of the content. The content and form relate to the exhibition title and, given its future venue in Brno, Czech Republic, allude to the passing of time and the transition of a national identity from state to state.
