Multimedia Installation. One new video piece with a text, an annotated floor map (3mx3m) and three small artefacts or sculptures. The piece is called 'True' and its content is the documented appearance of a vertical lens-shaped UFO. The UFO forms the link between form, space and new technology in the work, enabling a questioning of the basic premises of technological power and inequalities. it was shown in the 1830s warehouse at the Museum, the site of the first railway between Manchester and Liverpool in order to bring the historical context of revolutionary technology into play around the work's display. Intersculpt was a selected group show which was shown simultaneously in many international venues in the US, Paris, New Zealand, etc. with artworks transferred by file across continents to be constructed using Rapid prototyping layer manufacture in the space overseas.
