Andrew Gillespie and Andrew Lacon are ESP members and collaborate together on an itinerant, curatorial project called Recent Activty. Rebecca Ackroyd (b.1987) is an artist based in London (UK). For Summer Camp, Recent Activity have invited Rebecca to respond to Nomadic Vitrine, creating a site specific Installation. At once abject and seductive, beautiful and grotesque, her work celebrates the friction between materials and their form.

Nomadic Vitrine invites artists to respond to a nomadic display case, either using it functionally to present work or intervening with it sculpturally. Recent Activity is a curatorial collaborative project by Birmingham based artists Andrew Gillespie and Andrew Lacon, delivering an intermittent program in a variety of locations.
