Bethany Cassidy
My practice explores the reactive and connective power of sound within different communities. I am at the moment looking particularly, but in no way exclusively, at music, dance and ritual. By using experiential, conversational and observational methods of enquiry, I can examine the fusion between (diverse kinds of) people and sound/music. I am interested in the way sound can transform our individual and collective state of mind.
Topics of common/worldwide interest influence my practice and create the starting point for positive, accessible art forms.
