Art and Design ranked 7th in Complete University Guide 2020 subject tables

Art and Design has entered the top 10 for the first time in the Complete University Guide 2020 subject league tables.

The courses are ranked 7th in the country – a record high position -  rising five places from last year’s standings.

 The independent Complete University Guide subject tables are compiled with a combination of weighed factors, namely entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality and graduate prospects.

 Each subject is then given a score out of 100, with Art and Design gaining a score of 95.2 in the 2020 rankings.

 Penny Macbeth, Dean of Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metropolitan University, said: “I am completely delighted for the staff and students who have worked so hard to achieve this incredible result.
