Be Andr (b. 1978, Norway) is a London-based artist and researcher whose practice treats code as a material and temporal condition, combining algorithmic systems with oil painting to probe the boundary between image, text, and execution. Through his System of Emergent Touch (SET), he stages painting as a site of friction where computational processes and material resistance co-individuate, reconfiguring tactility, sense, and authorship within human–machine relations.

He holds a PhD and MA from the Royal College of Art. Exhibitions include a UNESCO-commissioned project at Fabriano Contemporanea(IT), Halle13 (AT), CCA Andratx (ES), The Bomb Factory Art Foundation (UK), and the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art (IL). His public works are installed in Oslo (NO), Mare Street, Hackney (UK), Howick Place, Victoria (UK), and Corso della Repubblica, Fabriano (IT).
