Rosell Meseguer

Rosell Meseguer lives and works in Madrid. She is a visual artist with a PhD in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, where she is currently a Professor of MA and BA degrees. Since 2005, she has been developing her professional activity between Europe and Latin America through collaborations with museums, galleries and universities. She has been awarded a scholarship by the Academy of Spain in Rome, the Botín Scholarship and the Fundació Miró Mallorca. She has been invited and has received commissions from institutions such as the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Spain; AC/E, Cultural Action Spain; Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID); Manifesta, International Foundation Manifesta (IFM), Netherlands (2010- 2011); Plat(t)Form, Winthertur, Zurich; Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, Chile; ArtCenter/South Florida, Miami.

Her work is present in collections such as: C.A.2M. Dos de Mayo Art Center, Madrid; BBVA Foundation; AENA Foundation; Royal Academy of Spain in Rome; UNICAJA or IVAM, Valencia as well as in private collections in the United States (Board Whitney Museum, New York), Latin America (MAC Museum of Contemporary Art of Santiago de Chile) and Spain (DKV Insurance).
