Segue o Fluxo: rastreando o Teatro Laboratório na Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença (Follow the Flow: Tracing the Laboratory Theatre in the Brazilian Journal on Presence Studies)

This article proposes a dialogical reflection on the legacy of the theatre laboratory, drawing on the experiences of Jerzy Grotowski, Eugenio Barba's Odin Teatret, and Lume Teatro. Based on special issues of the Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença (particularly the editions dedicated to Grotowski, Odin Teatret, and LUME Teatro and Laboratories in Flux), we discuss how these practices emphasise encounters with the self, with others, and with cultural otherness. We also reflect on the contemporary relevance of these approaches in light of current urgencies and the challenge of sustaining such processes in the face of the immediacy imposed by neoliberal logics.
