Voice and Nothing More in January 2009 was a week-long festival exploring the voice as both medium and subject matter curated and programmed by Sam Belinfante and Neil Luck.
Pattern Book is an ongoing project; the stitched book produced to be shown as part of the MMU China exhibition in 2007 was appropriated to be used in this context as an object score and shown alongside a sequence of instructional drawings relating to the piece. Pursuing an interest in collaborative practice, this opportunity allowed me to work with Neil Luck, a composer, and 2 vocal artists to re-interpret the work through the medium of voice.
