Immersive Experiences

Output Type:Other form of assessable output

October 2017, Arts & Humanities Research Council: Immersive Experiences. The aim of the proposed research activity was to generate conceptual ideas and opportunities for the enhanced use and appreciation of communal public spaces across our urban and sub-urban landscapes. The research activities were to be driven by collaborative stakeholder engagement, with the application of human centred research methods delivering insights into the historical, contemporary and future applications' of these spaces. How, through a deeper understanding of place may we begin to generate enhanced functionality and experience to serve local communities, connect cultures and afford these spaces to be more expressive of our needs and immersive places of cultural experience? The funding application was for £75,000, over 9 month's duration.
