This drawing was on the cover of British Journal of Psychiatry (September 2019 edition). Published by Cambridge University Press since 1853 on behalf of The Royal College of Psychiatrists, this journal is one of the world's leading psychiatric journals and distributed to all registered psychiatrists in the UK. Entitled Psychiageographies [Détournement] [Exquisite Corpse] [Parentheses], the drawing is one of several outcomes of #MagicCarpet (2017-2019), which explores mind wandering and how it relates to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and visual art. The Arts Council-funded Unlimited commission is led by Dr Kai Syng Tan in collaboration with Professor of Psychiatry Philip Asherson at King's College London. Referencing Surrealism and Situationism, this drawing is a snapshot of the artist's hyperactive mind.
