We are thrilled to announce that Manchester School of Art launches its 2021 end-of-year digital showcase ‘All Eyes On You’ on June 17th 2021, celebrating the achievements of our graduating classes across Art, Design, Media and Performance.

'All Eyes on You' will be the School of Art’s second major digital showcase, following on from the success of the 2020 show ‘In Progress.’ Professor Martyn Evans, Director of the School, said: “We are delighted and proud to be celebrating the incredible hard work and achievements of our final year students. After an unprecedented year, our digital exhibition is a real celebration of our students’ creativity, dedication and resilience.”

'All Eyes on You' digital platform also brings together the work of this year’s graduating class in Art Theory and Practice programme namely BA (Hons) Art History and Curating and BA (Hons) Fine Art and Art History, which includes Curating pathway. Students from the two courses explore how diverse methods and experimental processes continue to be relevant in curatorial practice.

Working closely together with Dr Gulsen Bal, Senior Lecturer in Curating (Art Theory & Practice), Curating pathway students are encouraged to engage with cross-disciplinary studies through these two undergraduate programmes. This engagement allows students to explore their research related ongoing issues in response to how they adapted and reimagined current circumstances by choosing distinct subject areas.

Each student has been given the opportunity to showcase their work digitally and this platform features a selection of special curatorial projects from Curating pathway:

Art History and Curating: Michele Alesi; Jasmin Brar; Victoria Lawrence; Hazel  Preston; Saffron Ramsey; Louise Stirrup

Fine Art and Curating: Eleanor Aitchison; Caitlin Berry; Milena Nixon; Ellie Shepherdson; India Parsons

The virtual showcase is a precursor to the physical degree shows which will run in Spring 2022. This will include both our 2020 and 2021 graduates.
