3 March 2022

A new collaboration between Videocity and Manchester School of Art

Videocity is delighted to offer an internship opportunity for students on the MA/MFA Contemporary Curating course at Manchester School of Art part of our new collaboration. Videocity aims to cultivate different ways of working digitally together as a global team.

Videocity is an international public art project supporting video art. The iniation was founded by Dr Andrea Domesle in Basel in 2013. Videocity was the first independent curatorial initiative to be awarded the Swiss National Heritage status in 2019.

Videocity promotes the mobility of video art, video artists and young curators by providing an international art platform. Videocity supports diversity, transcultural & trans-border exchange, whilst keeping a low ecological impact. Their cycles foster discussions on socially relevant themes and create a public space for debate. Videocity aims to bring art into daily life for broad and diverse audiences.

Videocity connects video art with broad audiences in public spaces around the world, both indoors and outdoors, as well as in unusual locations.
