Radical Locks

A commission for Tameside Council to mark the represenatation of the people's act. Working with a wide range of women's groups across the borough in 2018-9 the outcome is a collaborative banner.
The diaphonous cloth offers a counter to many of the traditiona, heavy suffragette banners, being made up, as it is, of silk organza cirles and human hair, donated by the women of Tameside.
