‘Le Kilt x Norn : Innovation Through Tradition’, London Craft Week, 2018

A collaborative exhibition hosted by luxury womenswear brand Le Kilt (Founded by Sam McCoach) and experimental design consultancy NORN (co-founded by Sophia Fenlon, Steph Rolph & Hannah Auerbach) at the Michael Hoppen Gallery, Chelsea as part of London Craft Week. The exhibition investigated the reappropriation of traditional materials framed within the aesthetics and values of punk subculture. Featuring curated ephemera, tactile installations and participatory workshops, the project explored how independent learning and unconventional textile practices can redefine contemporary womenswear. Visitors were invited to engage directly in applied making, using personal narratives to shape garment design.
