Dressing Modernism

Dressing Modernism features work from the Annual Stegreif Short Design Studio taught by Continuity Atelier Lead John Lee for Münster School of Architecture. The projects derive inspiration from the etymological links between 'clothing' and 'cladding', and in response to the presence of technically-deficient modernist structures in contemporary cities. Invited to 'dress' bare and somewhat plain and ordinary structures, students developed provocative interventions in building, site and settlement. The exhibition features work from the 2023 Studio groups, and some retrospective work from the previous four years of the programme.
