Katy Morrison

Katy Morrison is an independent curator and researcher. She graduated from BA History of Art in 2012 and completed her Masters in Contemporary Curating in 2019 both from the Manchester School of Art. As a curator, she has shown extensively throughout Manchester, producing research-led projects across major organisations and institutions in the city and has founded and directed several artist-led projects and spaces including Lionel Dobie Project, MUTO, Caustic Coastal, COLLAR - whilst building a strong international network through collaborations with Poppositions, Brussels, 68Art Institute, Copenhagen, ‘Corte Supernova’, Venice & ‘Sluice Art Fair’, New York. She currently co-directs PINK, a dedicated exhibition and residency space focusing on interdisciplinary research, practice and collaborative exchange in Manchester. She also has an independent research practice exploring interests in discursive frameworks, performative platforms for critical enquiry and ways in which we can facilitate and mediate multiple spaces for the generation of knowledge.
