Catherine Parsonage

Catherine Parsonage was born in Birkenhead (UK) in 1989. Catherine graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2013 and Manchester Metropolitan University in 2011. Catherine is currently the Freelands Painting Fellow at Bath Spa University 2021. Catherine was the 2016-7 Sainsbury Scholar at the British School at Rome, and 2018-9 fellow at Castro Projects, Rome. Solo presentations include Art O Rama, Bosse & Baum, Marseille, (2019), Notes in Green, Clima, Milan (2019) and Convivium, Bosse and Baum, London. (2017-8). Selected group exhibitions include Body Snatchers, Like a Little Disaster (Bari 2021) An Introduction, Via Raffineria (Catania 2020) Searching for myself through remote skins, Renata Fabbri, (Milan, 2018) Psst a play on gossip, Fondazione Giuliani, (Rome 2018) sign just under the skin House of Egorn, (Berlin, 2018) and Full for it, Catherine Parsonage & Tomaso de Luca, Garbo’s, Rome (2017).
