Venue:App Store

Beacons for Science is a collaborative project between the Universities in Manchester to produce an interactive app incorporating Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.

The app, which was developed for Manchester City of Science 2016, enables users to see science stories from the city as they walk around- including being able to see inside buildings and to be transported to new perspectives on science. Experiences in the app include interactive VR performances, 3D characters and statues placed around the city, short VR documentaries and artistic videos about Science.

It was developed with a number of partners around the city including galleries, libraries, artists and scientists. I curated and developed the AR and VR content for the app.
